The Vidago Palace Hotel is located in the north of Portugal, one hour away from the airport of Oporto and 30 minutes from the famous Douro Valley, considered Unesco´s world heritage. The hotel was commissioned by the last King of Portugal D. Carlos I and opened in 1910. At this time the legendary Vidago mineral water were considerate an asset of national interest. After 4 years of refurbishment, the hotel reopens in 2010, upgraded to a 5-star resort and proud member of Leading Hotels of the World.
